The Basic Family History Course is run once a year. Here is the flyer [ PDF 84kb] for the course in 2009.

    Road show

The Society undertakes "outreach" activities of an adult education nature in the Canberra region and southern and south-western towns of New South Wales.

    Projects

The Society is engaged on several projects. The details may be supplied by the Secretary.

    Other activities

The Society mounts public displays and holds open days at the Library to inform the public about the resources available for family history research. It also provides speakers to address local community organisations and conducts workshops and seminars. From time to time the Society arranges cemetery picnics when members transcribe monumental inscriptions in the local region. Notice of them will appear in our Home page.

We have published several volumes of monumental inscriptions for cemeteries in the ACT, Braidwood, Goulburn, Gundagai, Monaro, Yass and Young. Copies of these volumes are held in the Society's library, together with the records of many other cemeteries. Here is a list of the publications that are currently for sale.
